Hello everyone. Two weeks have gone by so fast! The first two weeks are the hardest because you are getting used to manual labor again. We had a special talk from the construction overseer, Ross Pratt, from the Australian Branch; this branch oversees the project. The projected end date for this project is May 2012. Brother Pratt mentioned the other projects going on in this part of the world. The Philippian branch is scheduled for a renovation of the translation building which will take 6 months and they will use local brothers. The long-term work needed at this same branch is 150 new translation offices along with audio/video building. The branch in Thiland is currently having their kitchen expanded. There is one international servant couple and 3-4 international volunteer couples. The island of Tuvalu will get a new missionary home. Myanmar will be renovated and get a new building. Land has been purchased in Hong Kong for a new Bethel. It will take 1-5 years for a building permit, of which, the process has been started. Sri Lanka will also have a renovation and new buildings. So, as you can see the work is great indeed! They need workers so if any are interested get your international volunteer application from your congregation secretary! Enjoy the pictures!

About to eat some Korean BBQ-you cook the meat at your table.
Almost like home. The side on the left is some type of cabbage and the other is some type of seaweed vegetable.
The top dish is pumpkin-which is what they call all squash- (it was sweet & good) and the other is tofu topped witht broccoli & cheese with a sauce.
Enjoying the local cuisine!
